Proper parenting would definitely prevent some of this. Some kids don't win the "parents who love you" lottery.

This x1000. We used to jump from a chimney 3 stories high into a pool the was at an angle with 10-15ft of carry. Incredibly dangerous and our parents would have been horrified to know what we were doing.

I use to jump off a the roof onto a trampoline and then try and land up in a tree.
