“Not be bullied.”
This is getting better and better. Too bad it’s a slow drip. The Netflix documentary will be excellent.

IMHO, they are trying to get out in front of fraud charges her daughter might receive.
They already lied about the redroof incident and now admit to it. So they will at least lie.
In my opinion Hoover has given them an out to come out and say she has issues but they refuse and are sticking with the story.

If she was driving, saw a toddler as she passed it, then looped around and was trying to find it again, this is exactly what her driving would look like.
I wondered this too. Was her original route North on 459, saw the kid and looped once? Or was she on 459S and had to loop twice? I don't think the former is possible. I just looked at Hwy 459 South on Street View, mile marker 11.4 is about where she stopped (after traveling perhaps a half a mile on the shoulder with her flashers on. The traffic cam shows her enter frame well before marker 11.6, already on the shoulder with hazards on).
There is no way she could have seen a toddler across the highway here. The highway has a sizeable wooded median as well as a hill that appears to be at least as high as a pickup truck at this point.
The place she worked and got food were north of this point and her home south, so she would not have been looping around unless she went past the child, looped to go north, then looped back to go south. .... but waited until she stopped to call 911 about a toddler on the highway. That would take quite a bit of time, minimum 10 minutes, that a child would be in danger. If I saw a toddler on the highway as I passed, I'd get over ASAP, call the cops then run back up the highway to the child.
It is still unclear to me exactly when the first 911 call happened. I'd love to see that synced with the traffic cam. Did she call before she stopped or after she stopped? If she called before she stopped, then how did she know it was a male toddler? If she called after she stopped, why wait until you are talking with your family to ask the child if he is OK?

At some point I think the police were called to the Red Roof. It may have been the people at Red Roof who called, though.
From what was initially reported, it was the front desk employee who contacted the police once the entire family showed up. In fact, that was a recorded police dispatch call.
To add to this, the family was quick to call this incident false that day but just confirmed it this evening.
On top of that, according to the timeline provided in that AL.com article, police received the call about the family storming the Red Roof Inn shortly before 7 p.m., then just 3 hours and 44 minutes later, they get the call that Carlee has made her way home at 10:44 p.m. Very odd the call from the Inn to the family, which her mom is now calling a prank, happened not long before Carlee's return home.

The entire story is built on this obviously false claim. Nothing truthful happens after this lie.

The last two sentences are particularly interesting. They expect a "resolution" soon. Couple that with the part about providing the police with "everything we uncovered" and that the investigation is in a "very sensitive state".
Nothing in this statement leads you to believe there is an abductor out and about.

Is the AL info written in the Police response article about the BOLO that night correct?
I first thought ”Exit 1” might be typo in article and meant Exit 10, but reading it again the article at least mentions special attention directed in that direction and beyond towards Tuscaloosa.
Did they find her phone around Exit 1?

When mom talks about “her abductor” - I just have to laugh.

I bet you she stole money that day to have money to live on while she was in hiding.
The claims on social media are that she was embezzling which is probably why the spa said “some things are true and some aren’t”.
If she stole money once, say a large sum just that last day, then it definitely helps the police know that this was all planned.
However, if this is all true, then I wonder what the real reason for her disappearance was. There may be some crazy shite still that we don’t know.

Exit 1 is Bessemer. Way out of the way for anything already disclosed about this case. 11 miles from the “abduction” and even farther from the Red Roof.

At this point its starting to become irritating they are messing around to cover this up.
They know what happened. They know she lied.
Stand down, youngster.
I don't think they have decided what day to kick her in the balls, but she made them look bad and they have gathered everything to get retribution.
