Yep, that statement alone is something. If she didn’t do anything there would be nothing to uncover.

They basically told us all we needed to know without saying it.

Parents mention a hoax text from someone that started the red roof inn stuff.

Would think that's easily verifiable and traceable

“Expect a resolution soon” from her employer at the end

doesn’t sound like an abductor is on the loose with a phrase like that

If it was a real kidnapper they would have no idea when it would be resolved, right?

That's certainly the way it reads. The statement also makes me wonder if this is somehow related to her job or employer. They seem to know a lot without revealing what they know. It reads like there will be a resolution involving the employer with that statement and the fact that they "uncovered" some things.

Would be great if the cop that breaks the news publicly is red haired and has some cheezit crumbs on his shirt or something.

As long as we're throwing out food joints, drive a little further north on 31 to Lorna and hit up Blue Pacific Thai. You won't regret it.

So why would a large crowd be onsite before first responders? How would they know she is home? Who told them? This is one strange case.

If my son went missing, my whole family would be at my house while we searched for her, especially if he’d just called me that day.

Agree. And police would never disclose to any business how close they were to finding kidnapper so it must be some of the rumors like money embezzled (or flat out theft) are true and close to resolution.

I don’t believe parents knew at the start. And if they found out later (but before she came home) they are trying to protect her, most parents would. But them talking isn’t good. My guess is they respect their public name and don’t want it tarnished so are trying to fix that - all while daughter isn’t being honest. Time will tell.

To add to this, the family was quick to call this incident false that day but just confirmed it this evening.

I think the part they called false was the she had been found at the Red Roof. They didn't say the whole incident was false, at least not that night. They put out almost immediately after the rumors started that she hadn't been found there.

The part of about it being a prank may very well be cover, though. She, or someone she was with, could have called them, and they are just not wanting to let that cat out of the bag.

While I agree with what you are saying, I feel like the family knew already she was faking and that they are all going along with it to try to protect her.

When other black people were calling her out on social media, I knew it was over for her. They either go all in to protect each other or they turn. There’s no in between.

If the women she had beef with actually thought she was kidnapped, their blackness would come before their personal beef. It happens over and over again. Just look at the riots that happened where people were stealing and burning shite to the ground.

No one in that community was holding anyone accountable. Same thing with the kids in Chicago, and the lawsuit with the “racist” certification test in NY.

Standing in road though? They would be in house is my guess yet when police showed up their report stated all the people standing in road. That part confused me. And late at night, its dark and past most bedtime (10:44pm). Again, doesn’t pass sniff test. But thats just my opinion

Yeah some carriers are quick and some wait 72 hours after a warrant is issued.

Sounds like parents and then at least 6 other cars of people showed up at red roof in. The “scam” text about being at Red Roof Inn seems like an attempt to get people away from house temporarily.

Not sure if it moved enough away; but the Taziki’s was long gone and Cheez-its were not going to cut it much longer.

I want to see a crowd of hecklers when she is being taken in for booking. Some wearing Cheezits t-shirts and some munching from boxes of Cheezits. Some red headed balding men with trucker themed shirts. Just turn it into a circus!
