Where do you work? All ICU/ER nurses I know have posted nothing or minimally at all to social media, and they all seem to be annoyed about the whole attention whoring by the rest of the nurses who aren’t doing jack shite but soaking in the attention their profession is getting. It’s always the nurses/healthcare workers who are trying to overcompensate for how little their department or job is actually doing related to Covid. E.g. Children’s hospital workers in NO.

most hospital nurses work 12 hour shifts.
100% ones I know work like 3 or 4 days then 3 or 4 straight days off with those hours. None are working 12-16 hour days 6 days a week, every week.
Also, none I know need any attention when they work three long days then get to golf or go to lake or sit at home for 3 or 4 days.

I expected this would trigger the OT. They did not disappoint.

We're sending Texas National Guardsmen to nursing homes to scrub their living quarters in M50 masks and Tyvek suits.
Less appealing I guess.

I'd like to think a great majority of nurses aren't this pretentious.
It's a pandemic with a flu, not the God damn Black Plague.

Can’t imagine there’s anything easier than going to nursing school (maybe an early education major).
Every other bimbo I went to HS/college with is a nurse. There’s really nothing difficult about it.

They're too busy playing dress up to follow the health and nutrition part of their training.

My mom is a nurse in ER near Detroit.
She's said it's busy but not crazy.
These people are just attention whores.
My mother is a nurse in a large city and she said the same. They’ve taken on nurses from areas of the hospital that aren’t accepting patients and are using them for triage. I guess they have the resources to have more on staff to lighten the overall load on everyone.
Girlfriend does not have that luxury as she works in a hospital in our small town. They are 2-3 nurses short every night from what they normally are, but they have had two cases at a time at most for the last three weeks. Only other admits aside from ICU are major non-elective surgeries and OB patients. She hasn’t complained at all...5 12s is normal for her. She definitely doesn’t have a super hero complex

Who is more of an attention whore between teachers, nurses, Oil Baws, and realtors. They all seem to be equally bad.
Army babies are the worst. Oorah!

It would be terrible to be as miserable as most of you on this website.

Isn’t obesity one of the things that put you in the “high risk” category? If so, these nurses need to be resigned for their own safety.

Agree - I just read through 4 pages of text book classic examples of thin-skinned, insecure and unfulfilled individuals. Quite frankly, it’s embarrassing.

I’ve been on this site for several years now and it’s a wild place. Fat, small, short, tall, skinny, nurses, firefighters, lawyers, doctors, black, brown, everybody is trashy.
