OMFG there are things said in the OT that are 1000x more insulting. You seem soft.

Actually if that gets me banned, so be it. Would be doing me a favor actually. Waste too much time on here.

Ok let’s see.

The pic of the logs is lame.
Michelob ultra is sheeple beer.
His shoes are ghey.

There’s more but that’s the major stuff.

The dog is cool though.

Am I being too rough for the OT?

An off year for the Thanksgiving thread

I don’t know, I’m patiently waiting for an update on this

Not much to contribute but my ex wife was texting me for recipes of dishes I used to cook on Thanksgiving when we were together. I may or may not have omitted or added ingredients. Some of her dishes are going to taste like arse. I know it's petty, but the little things make me happy.

For what it’s worth, context clues lead me to believe he’s outside. Those are probably actual stacked logs and not a picture of logs.

Take a lap. If you think marrying someone not from Louisiana makes them a loser, then I have no words for you.

Those are my house slippers, didn’t feel like putting on shoes and socks to go outside. That’s fire wood for the fire place.

Bil drank all my Miller Lite.

It feels lame to have to reference your own post, but here goes. I had to find it because what happened yesterday was basically a direct followup unintentionally of a Thanksgiving in years past.

Thanksgiving thread 5 years ago

The younger girl of the subject of the last post is now 20, in college, and brought her new boyfriend to Thanksgiving. This is the exact same boyfriend that came to the exact same Thanksgiving 5 years earlier dating the older cousin. I'm not sure exactly why they thought this would go over well, but some people just don't make good decisions

I'm not exactly sure what all was said nor the reactions to him showing up again, since my wife and I were not there this year. But I do know the older cousin at some point tried to pour boiling water over the younger cousin, and had to be physically held back by multiple men from attacking the younger cousin. She eventually left, and no fight actually occurred. Just loud yelling.

Finished up Thanksgiving at a friend’s house last night. Someone put our friend’s baby in a high chair without strapping in the kid. Dad removed the tray to get kid out and as he turns to put the tray down, the kid tumbles out and hits the ground (he assumed the kid was strapped in). Mom and dad are new parents and freak out, taking the kid to the hospital. The rest of us with multiple kids each keep drinking and playing poker because we already know from experience that kids bounce and we’ve seen worse. They came back an hour later saying everything was fine and the kid was ok. We kept drinking and playing poker.

That’s all the drama we had yesterday

I’m sure they enjoyed the $500 ER OOP bill and dealing with unfavorable demographics for a huge nothing burger.

In the basement watching Uga va GT. Upstairs looks like WWIII, but the tree is up as well as most of the decorations.

In the process of setting up the tree, the batteries in the shades died. Since the tree sits right in front of them i had to change them or it would be deas for 6 weeks. Of course I didn't have the 12 AAs each one needs so I had to brave Sam's club on Black Friday. I survived, but it was touch and go. Lol.

I came downstairs on the impetus of setting up the downstairs tree, but I'm on the couch. in my defense, I've been up since before 5 am.
