I had Mormons knock on my door probably around 830pm during the BYU vs Wisconsin NCAA tournament game. I have a few in me and told them their boss was a dick for making them work during a BYU game. Then asked them in for a beer to watch the end of the game and give me their sales pitch.
They declined.
I get Mormons almost weekly though.

My office is upstairs, and I have three good size dogs who go nuts when this happens. Nothing more aggravating walking all the way downstairs and it's some pest control or roofing or whatever salesman interrupting my workday and getting my dogs riled up.
Most all try the line that they were just doing business or sold something to my neighbor. When they mention the name, it is never anyone I know.

Solar panels is what is the major door to door in my neighborhood right now for some reason.
I was cutting grass in my backyard and didn't realize someone came to my door. Checked my Blink security notifications later and the guy went to my front door and then went around the side and went inside my garage (not a carport). He didn't steal anything but that was a bit much.
I thought about making my first ever FB neighborhood post to see if anyone recognized the company but just let it go.
I'm a GC and we do a lot of roofing. We've never knocked on a single door. We actually get a lot of work because we don't knock on doors.

I can't imagine paying someone to pick up my dog's crap. I imagine the only reason it's piling up is because you find it beneath you to do it yourself.
Damn dogs, you feed them and then they crap-----ungrateful bastards. Every dog I've ever had usually crapped at least 3 times a day.
At one time I had 3 dogs between 60-75 lbs. and I'd fill a 5 gallon bucket of crap every 2 weeks, put the lid on it and let the garbage men take it on trash day.

I had one of those sales dudes on the little scooter knock on my door the other night at 9pm... he was selling pest management contracts.
Told him politely I wasn't interested and to have a good night.
He kept talking and brought out his Ipad to show me the different plans.
I said I'm not interested, I already have it taken care of.
He started asking who I use. I didn't answer and said have a good one. He kept asking who I used.
I simply shut the door in his face while he was still talking, and I never dropped eye contact.
My wife said I was rude. I said I should've told him to "GTFO my property" after the 2nd time telling him I wasn't interested. 9pm. We were right in the middle of a documentary.
(I spray my own house. Not that hard. No bugs)

You have a nice, welcoming house. She's just come out of training. Sooner or later she will have to move to the hood to try and sell stuff. I see this is the same Nashville based Southwestern from my youth. What a tough job. But with the right personality she will prove to herself she is a winner. Here is an example.
