Many a great night were spent leaving downtown Hammond at 2 AM to go there. The place was literally a double wide with a "stage" in the middle. Some of the girls were decent, which was surprising, but they were all cracked out of their mind.

If they're wholesaling drugs out of the place then yes they should be shut down. Also, businesses like strip clubs are notorious for being used to launder money so I'm guessing there was a lot of drugs moving through the place.

I have a friend who likes to waste his paycheck at these establishments. He pulled up to this place when this went down. Lucky for him, one of the senior deputies with the TPSO is a guy we both went to high school with. He was just patted down and let go from what I understand.

TPSO, state, and feds conduct a raid in St Helena Parish, which has its own Sheriff's Department. No mention of SHPSO being involved in the raid.

Wonder what ever happened to the Oak Ridge? The owner Bobby was a total loser. Was sitting on a gold mine if he would have only kept everything above board, but some people just have to be crooked. Rode by there not quite a year ago on my way to Montpelier and was glad to see it shut down. Evil, stupid people don't deserve success.

Supposedly it's reopened. The same friend of mine who almost got caught up in the Mansions bust went there after he was released. Before today I heard LSP busted the place for the same thing a few years back.
