Correct.

Last time I rode behind Bacchus, my float (17) didn’t turn onto Napoleon until 945pm.
Got off the float at 2am.
Miserable.

Doubtful. The Friday parades wouldn't go for that.

And then got dropped off on Tchopitoulas beyond the bridge for the long hike back to the Hilton.

Oh I know the area well. Usually scrapping them off the pavement once a week.

Either way that Milan to Louisiana area is probably the best area to watch it Uptown.
Y’all stay safe and enjoy

LOL won't happen. They would go last. Hermes might get bumped up to like 5pm.

However the most likely outcome by far is Endymion going off in mid city at the usual time.

Everyone is looking to avoid rain. Everyone has threat of rain.

There is no way d'etat and Hermes are going agree to go behind Endymion.

To be honest, I much prefer to watch it on the Neutral Ground on Napoleon between Camp and Prytania. The bars on Magazine are right there...Ms Maes, NY Pizza, food, bathrooms, always lots of NOPD, nothing but families....but we are in on this deal around Milan so we split our time between both spots...Mila is nice too because NO Hamburger and Seafood is right there and it's convenient to pop in for a cocktail

You? Also, if you look at the %'s on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, the % on Saturday is the lowest of all 3 days. I can not believe they are thinking about moving.

I'm not sure we can do the mid city route anymore with the floats we have. The last time we took that route, we didn't have ponchatrain beach or any of the 3 section crew floats. Just the boat. We now have a few more 3 section krew floats (6 or 8) and added 2 - 4 section floats this year. I know we did a few test runs when adding ponchatrain beach as well as the 3 sections prior to rolling on the mid city route. Don't think we have time for that on the uptown route

Tangent.
We were watching the Sunday parades at St. Charles Ave. and St. Andrew St. Subway on one corner, Zion Lutheran on the other.

On St. Andrew, there's a lady from Mississippi who buys beads by the pound out of the back of a cube van.

The kids from the neighborhood steal a metric crap ton of beads right off of floats, we watched them all day Sunday. It's one thing to catch stuff, or pick stuff up, people, nowdays won't even bend over to pick up stuff that lands next to them. But they're stealing off of floats, and more than the occasional thief.

They would bring full bead bags every float. Watch your stuff.

They just break the bigger floats into smaller sections.
