re: Not a good weekend.

Have been fighting a cold since Tuesday. I got poison ivy all over my arm. I didn't get it doing yard work last week, but from doing laundry of the yardwork clothes . Sitting here with calamine lotion trying not to itch or cough. Spent most of today with my dad despite feeling not great so that was a plus

Took my 9 yo daughter and 7 yo son down to grand isle yesterday for a little hwy 1 fishing. The heavens opened up around 10 and lasted a couple of hours but we caught a few fish and got to see the porpoises at Fourchon.

Today after running a few errands I took a nap with my 2 yo daughter before boiling crabs for dinner.

My oldest daughter graduates high school this coming week and my oldest so finished his first year of law school so he’s officially a 2l.

Life is pretty damn good

If you’re alive and can still have sex, it’s never a bad day.

That’s deep owlie….

I’ve had a great weekend:

1. Friday night I had a great birthday dinner with my wife and daughter.

2. Yesterday I spent the day relaxing at my model desk and got started on my next build…


3. My Auburn Tigers won its weekend series over a gear LSU baseball team.

4. And the best part of the weekend, we received our first letter from my son yesterday who’s at Fort Benning going through Infantry OSUT. And then today he actually got to call us!



He’s doing good and is actually really loving military life. It’s going to be several more weeks before we can actually see him. But at least now I know he’s doing good and is even thriving.

So, I have to say all in all, it’s been an outstanding weekend.

I got some pussy last night and it was a nice enough day for me and the wife to go for a ride on my Harley.

I caught my first tube today, sir.

Had 4 birdie putts today, cooked a steak, drank a nice bottle of wine.

My weekend was great!

Nice little festival in a local park for cinco..packed an ice chest and some chairs and listened to some live music.

A very good buddy of mine had his little girl this week and is back home w her. Smoked them a pork shoulder...got to engage in one of my favorite hobbies and made sure 2 new parents have something easy, hot and home-cooked to eat on this week while they adjust.

Today spent just about the whole day outside with my son. He's 10 months and is really getting interactive...he swung, watched me at the grill, enjoys watching the birds visit the feeder on my lap

I'm pretty tired, but yea..dont mind bragging. huge success!
