Hammond was weird as frick as the colonel. I love Norm. Don't really see him as the colonel but it's a step up.

Yes, for god's sakes they don't want people to pay attention and react. Why would a commercial want to do that? Better to go back to KFC having pretty much an invisible presence as a marketed product.
Hammond's commercials were the first time anybody has ever taken notice of KFC in any kind of advertisement. The spots were kind of creepy. Also kind of brilliant in that way. I guarantee you nobody avoided KFC because of Hammond's depiction. But oh well. Better cave in to the humorless pussies out there.

Sometimes when I'm messing with my GF's cooch, I'll get right into her ear and say "it's finger lickin good" in a perfect Darrell Hammond Colonel Sanders voice. It creeps her out so much that she just gives me a stank face and walks away. I guess I'll have to figure out Norm's distinct arse voice now to have fun.

I see him on Last Comic Standing every week and think he is brain damaged. His commentary is usually somewhat lethargic and sometimes just out in left field.

Dude was just straight out creepy. Norm is still kind of creepy as the Colonel, but nowhere near is much as Hammond was.
