Green in the best color ever. No debate.

Both of these statements are equally ridiculous.

I like Norm, but that tweet shows more intelligence than I've ever given him credit for. That or he's real high.

i started watching a bunch of his comedy and that led me down the youtube rabbit hole of watching a bunch of his interviews and whatnot. the dude is incredibly bright. he may be a nutcase, but his intelligence is far greater than what he lets on

This is similar to my argument when people say humans are ruining nature, or that things are not "natural" and they are "man-made".

Well if you acknowledge that humans are indeed part of nature, then anything we do or create is also part of nature.

Thus, everything is "natural".

To be fair, most of Norm’s jokes require some level of intelligence to be appreciated.

I watched an interview of his on Trump, and was actually quite impressed. Well when you get past his ADD eyes...soooo yeah listening to it would be better than watching it. Ha.

This. I've always thought this. The environmental nuts treat humans like they arent supposed to be on earth.

Like what in the frick.

If you look into these activist groups they pretty much just want all humans dead and gone. Human existence is problematic to them.

CS Lewis

C.S. Lewis wasn't profound or original. He simply found a new worldview, accepted the information that supported it, and ignored or dismissed the information that did not. There's little difference from him and any other "atheist" who found a new god to worship.

Yeah activists will always be on the extreme side of irrationality.

The thing is though, you can follow the logic I had in my post, while also thinking humans are problematic. We're more like an invasive species. It is indeed "natural" though.

I can see people not caring for his brand of humor, but I hope you aren’t saying that he’s not unique/original.

Gonna have to disagree - some of his works really illustrate some eye-opening concepts in the most impactful ways.

Cool. Let's discuss some of those.

I've never read anything from Lewis and thought it was something eye-opening or especially impactful. I'm open to having my mind changed, though.

He did go on a bit of a tangent last night but everything he said was extremely cogent. It was actually a little weird.
