It's ridiculous we have people actually advocating for that kind of crap. Writing tickets for people watching the sunset in their cars? Cutting off a lone paddleboarder with a police boat? All that other crap too. Wtf is wrong with people who think that kind of bullshite is ok? I can understand not wanting large groups, but the government/police is taking some of this stuff way too far. We're living in an authoritarian police state. Yay!

This stuff is exceedingly rare

I'm not saying it shouldn't be fought, but the overwhelming majority of local/state governments are completely ignoring "technical" violations of the laws/orders.

Why is that your response to every thread where the word POLICE appears? This thread is much more about big government and politicians than police officers. Do you think police are the ones deciding stay at home and quarantine laws? Or is it possible that the politicians and government workers are making those decisions?

Engaging in critical thinking is too hard. We want compliance.

Arresting paddle boarders for being on the water and social distancing, ticketing people sitting in their own vehicles, preventing people from buying carpet and gardening supplies, interfering with citizens right to protest, preventing people from going to their second homes or property is more about authoritarians being authoritarians than any measure to stop a disease. These people are ousting their own dumb asses, and committing political and career suicide, and thank God they are. Weeding out the little dictators is a net positive for everyone.
