Less than 25% because there will be no oversight

I have to say things are starting to look a bit better with the drainage improvement reconstruction of Jefferson, Louisiana, and Napoleon, and St Charles is slowly being resurfaced in segments.

But the Garden District and Lakeview are still moonscapes. Same goes for most side streets in uptown. Fix the streets where the tax base is first.

Hopefully, in a few years, some assholes will go to prison over the whole thing.

doesn’t say they get 2 billion it says they will keep 2 billion that they already received. So you can bet you arse that the majority if not all of this money is already gone. You will see no improvement in the streets anywhere in New Orleans. The reason they basically wrote this off is because they know the money is gone. If they had made New Orleans pay this back it would have become a complete shite show and race issue.

It’s in large part funding projects the next 2-3 years

If you pop on roadwork.nola.gov they have an outline of projects I believe

It’s a pretty big job. It’s one thing to repave a road, it’s another to dig up and replace the drainage system.

Total rebuild. The first phase of that boh bros had was a disaster for them.

They didn’t even bid the phase going on now.

I took off the plans but even my company decided not to bid it.

Can you expound on this? More details.

My mom lives right off of fleur-de-lis so I'm kind of curious about what's going on.

I do realize it has been a massive job on Louisiana, Napoleon, etc., and difficult in general, but up and down St. Charles in areas without so much drainage, sometimes they've blocked off long stretches and it looks like they've gone on to another job or something for a while. Some days it's hard to figure out how the hell to get to where you're trying to get Uptown because they have so many different areas blocked off at the same time. The parts they are finishing do look and feel good, but it seems like things could go much faster and smoother in certain stretches.

It should say NOLA gets 1.2 billion to rebuild streets, and .8 billion go get beaks wet.

I used to walk so much more because I never knew which streets were available.
