Defense attorneys Gregory Carter and John Fuller told jurors that while his ankle monitor data showed Hughes was at the scenes of both crimes, he did not actually play a role in either incident. His ankle monitor data showed Hughes leaving the scenes as the crimes were happening, they said.

Brown plead guilty to manslaughter and was sentenced to 40 years in prison, so at least someone will do serious time for his murder.

Creates reasonable doubt that the other guy there with an ankle monitor actually committed the crimes.
Idk how he fricked up the robbery charge from the night before though. The woman said she saw Hughes kick her and was 100% confident it was him.

Inmates these days are getting paroled on 65% of their sentence for manslaughter these days
He'll get out when he's in his early 40s

It's serious time regardless, but yeah, this situation sucks for Yeager's family.
