NOLA deserves every bit of this, you guys elected Mitch. Now as he does everything he can to stay out of New Orleans while touting his agenda for world problems what he has left you with is your weight to bare

That is good are willing to back it? You know how you fix it, with longer and harder sentences.

It's funny. He ran on the platform of higher crime and less monuments. We should have known.

You could do a lot worse. I'm not from there but I think he would do a good job. I watched him just after Katrina and he's good.

I just can't believe he focused the majority of his address on climate change with all that's happened between the uptick in shootings and catching shite for removing the statues. You would think someone would tell him to at least lie and say he intends to do something about violent crimes.

He has his drawbacks. Isn't exactly liked by a lot of people, but I think he has his interest first then the city's interest. He has started a bunch of shite too that makes him a d-bag.

Would that change if he is Mayor, who knows. He has had my vote for a long time. Someone who gets the culture and is focused on being Mr New Orleans.

But what about their second amendment rights?

The 2nd amendment doesn't give you the right to rob people with your gun. It doesn't give you the right to have a stolen gun. It doesn't give you the right to carry a concealed gun without a permit. It's doesn't give you the right to carry a gun while peddling dope. Felons dont have the right to carry a gun.

See it's pretty simple. I own a gun and if a cop hems me up for questioning I'm going to tell them I have a gun b/c I'm not breaking any laws with my gun. I'm not going to resist or even make the slightest motion that I'm reaching for my gun.

Common sense brah

I am definitely no Landrieu fan. And Mitch has 0 chance in any POTUS race in my opinion. And I don't really have a take on stop and frisk one way or another (I never researched the subject).

But I find it a bit disconcerting that Kennedy always looks like he's wearing lipstick in his TV appearances.

We don't have one and that is a large part of the problem.
