I would love, for once, for Landrieu to be faced with an unscripted and completely open (meaning he can't restrict attendees to his hand picked friendly media participants) Q&A about crime in NOLA. He would completely melt and it would be glorious. But he doesn't have near the balls or the political willpower to face something like that.

I had to stop my truck and watch two fine young gentlemen duke it out in a knowckown drag out FIGHT right in the heart of the CBD. Not a single person did anything to stop it an there wasn't a cop in sight. How are we that short staffed as a city.
The fight probably lasted 5 minutes at 4:45pm.

Cause Mitch spent a fortune taking the statues down. That really worked out well, sickening to pass Lee's circle not. Another great city ruined by ignorant democrats, it's the common denominator of every great city in this country that has gone to hell.

Stop and Frisk is the wrong answer. Lawsuits out the ying yang. We should work on fixing our justice system, and stop imprisoning non-violent offenders and imprisoning ALL violent offenders.

Well by fixing the criminal justice system they need to first fix change the laws to where every damn thing isn't illegal. 2ndly when someone does break one of their few laws that they ask the people to not break, they throw the book at them. Start giving 30-40 years for illegally carrying a weapon. Life for armed robbery with no benefit of parole. shite like that.

I simply can't think of a single good reason to visit NOLA anymore with the shithole it's become. I used to frequent concerts and take the family on occasion for the day on a weekend but I simply refuse to pump my disposable cash into that city any longer. There's still areas of the WWII museum I didn't get to visit but I refuse to go back. I do a cash donation directly to the museum once a year because it's a wonderful place and historically significant but I won't set foot or spend an additional dime in the city it's located for a long, long time.
