Sad to Say it but most of the people who pretend to be country folk these a days are faking it and posing. Everyone of them I've met may live out in rural Areas but they all Have wifi and x Boxes and huge flat-screen TV. They drive $80k trucks and have I phones. Nothing country at all about that. Just riding the geography coattails.

So because technology is advanced and readily available, country folk aren't country folk? Dumb.

You can't be country if you drive a nice truck?

You don’t have to live off the grid to be country.

Seriously. My uncle never went to school past high school, drives a log truck for a paper mill, hunts deer behind his house, and basically lives an old country redneck life, but he has an iphone. Of course it is in a Mossy Oak case that he clips to his belt.

People probably said the same thing when they got cars and electricity.

I agree. I see a lot of these so called "country folk" are even using electricity and indoor plumbing these days. Posers.

What makes Ryno's trolling world-class is that he trolls about the weirdest shite. Love it.

So to be "country" you have to live like its 1850? Cool.

I'm just thankful we have artists like Luke Bryan and Florida Georgia Line keeping authentic outlaw country music flowing.

What metrics do you use to define being 'country' and how are people today pretending to live that way?

I agree general resourcefulness and being happy with a simpler lifestyle are probably going by the wayside, but to me, 'country' is more about where you live than how you live there.
