Probably should focus on his 14 y/o daughter having sex with a 26 year old first.

So because he was a one time offender and only had one victim he isn't going to jail.

He got off light because it was consensual. Still should have gotten some jail time, imho.

What's the real background here? Had they been "dating" for quite some time? And finally they agreed to have sex? Was he like the nerdy kid that lived across the street that no one his age would talk with him?
Hopefully, this wasn't the case of where he broke a window into her bedroom and raped her in her own bed and the judge just went soft.

ETA: I see he was the bus driver and fed her alcohol. frick him.

I don't know, but he was 26 and she was 14.

It is easy to manipulate a 14 year old. A 26 year old should know better and he should have to spend some time in jail. Even if it's a few months, he should have to pay some debt to society.

I’ve never understood our countries light laws on pedofilia. What should be considered the worst crime possible is typically treated as a misdemeanor.

14 y/o =/= pedophilia. Not taking up for it or anything, but it's two very different things.

eh maybe it shouldn’t be but it’s quite a bit different when it’s a older guy with a 14 year old girl instead of the other way around

Is it just me or people just not giving af anymore about rape? There's a rape thread here every day and the son of a bitch gets light sentencing.

Scary times.
