Did the Rogues for about a year ... definitely preferred flavors over Zyn but they just ate my mouth up. Still think their Spearmint is the best thing out there.
yep. And the On ones come hard and compacted too which can also cause damage to gums. I’ve switched it up a number of times and landed back on Zyns. If people in here are saying the ALPs come tough and compacted too then not interested.

Not looking to take the pouch out and tell that I had them in because I feel gum pain or numbness afterward.

Of course it is bad for you. It is better than smoking, but is still bad for you.

It's got some health benefits too, in pure nicotine form, especially cognitively. It's really not that bad for you.

Also my dentist said he sees very little impact on people's mouths. I Zyn a lot and he couldn't tell looking at my mouth, which would be horrific looking if I dipped or chewed this much.

Nicotine has pros and cons. It gives you a focus boost and supposed to increase testosterone and studies have shown it may limit possibility of Alzheimer's. But its also a vasoconstrictor and can cause issue with blood circulation.

I like the Velo brand ones. They just came out with 9mgs.

I find the pouch is different with these 9mgs as compared to their 7s. I like the citrus ones the best.

I do it because it’s cleaner than Copenhagen. That’s all I got.

Zyn & the like seem to be getting more popular. What is your take on this? Nicotine good or bad for you? Is it harmless in this form?

I don't use them much, just to give me a little boost when I'm tired or need to focus.

I've dipped Copenhagen forever. About a year ago, I switched to Zyn. Loved it. Completely quit Copenhagen. Until I started losing my voice. Raspy, weak vocal chords. At times, it was pretty bad. I switched back to Copenhagen and it improved, but not all the way. My voice is still weaker than it was.

Subsequently, checked it out. Zyn is nicotine salt. My guess is that I cured my vocal chords like curing bacon. I've searched for any discussions of this online, but haven't ever found anything specific.

Those nicotine pouches felt like they were doing something to the enamel on my teeth. Switched to Snus and never looked back.

Yeah, I quit tobacco cold turkey back in 2019.

It's just.....I have a baby and some pretty bad attention deficit issues. When I'm tired or I need to focus, nicotine helps.

I'm not a user so I can't speak to user experience. However, I work in the industry and went tour the Altria plant where they make On and got the chance to feel their new On+ punches. They are super soft and sealed from the inside the pouch, so no noticable seam. They are slow rolling the release in just a few cities, including Austin, as they ramp up production

Question: Anyone know of one with a decent Tobacco flavored nicotine pouch?
Other than Rogue, that one is horrible.

never smoked but use the pouches. I started with Zyn but have moved on to other brands I like better and are cheaper. Personally I like Velo, Zone, and Fre. I found the pouch size of the Rogues too big to fit comfortably - in constrast the On! pouches are the smallest but in my experience they leak and I find powder in the container often.

Alp, Clew, and Zeo are good too. Personally I hated Juice Head, they were TOO "juicy" for my taste. Some brands seem to punch above or below their weight - ie, a 6mg pouch in some brands hits me like 3mg in others. Some brands have a sharp spike and then fade quickly, others seem to have a fairly even dosing effect. Similar experiences with flavor as well.

Go to NicoKick and order an assortment to see what you like.

Northerner is another similar site but I haven't bought from them so can't comment, but Nicokick has been great for me.

Some have commented about getting hiccups, I do too sometimes. I found out that's caused by the momentary dopamine spike from the stimulant. It goes away if you're using them on a regular basis but if it's been a day or so since i last used one the hiccups will return if I'm using a high enough dosage.

Speaking of stimulant, one of the reasons I started using pouches is because nicotine's half-life in your bloodstream is about 1/2 that of caffeine. So if I had caffeine too late in the day it would impact my sleep - nicotine not so much.

I quit dipping back in July, cold turkey. I still crave that good ol Copenhagen long cut, but I use a product called Grinds (mint coffee grinds in a pouch). I haven't dipped since.

Was in line behind some early to mid 20s girls for the lsu game on saturday and they all had visible nicotine patches on the backs of their upper forearms. I just did not get it. I smoked from late teens to age 30 and quit when I got married. I enjoy a good cigar every once in a while. I would probably rather see a young person smoke an old fashioned cigarette than vape. Were these girls trying to quit smoking or they needed the patches because they could not vape in the game? The patches were just not a good look in my opinion.

Its the new weight loss and focus fad for women. My sister in law did it for a while and said it got her off the ADD meds.

I used these to quit Copenhagen and have never been able to fully kick the habit from them. Long stretches of quitting but always get sucked back in. I’ve tried zyn, rogue, Onn, etc., but none are as good as mellow.

I’d rather the nicotine without the tobacco but none are as good.

It’s the absolute perfect tobacco product.

When I’m using, I’m at about a can every 3 days. I introduced my brother in law to them and I swear he goes through 2 a day now.

One day after we had all been together and he had some liquid courage, he threw me under the bus saying that he had quit Levi and I introduced these to him and it was my fault he was addicted.

My wife hates when I use and gave me absolute daggers.

I use Pillowz and one called Riz. Riz are super soft. I get the Vanilla Cold Brew and sometimes Bubble gum flavored in the Riz. Pillowz has a really good Sour Raspberry. I get them online from ziipstock.com, they have a huge selection of brands.
