Is it really worth getting all worked up over? People act like the country is burning to hell

The NFLs embrace of marxism...yes it is worth getting worked up over.

Even if you disagree with the activism, political statements and etc, if you let these things stop you from watching football, then you weren’t a true fan to begin with.
Get over it. I will continue to enjoy the NBA playoffs, college football, and the NFL regardless. We’ve gone too long without sports; nothing is going to ruin them for me. People are so soft.

Didn’t really talk about social justice during the games today
Only a communist sympathizer would know that.

Whats the big deal about nfl protests? After all our country was founded on rebellion. How do you think the monarchy of England felt when settlers of America didn't want to pay taxes? How do you think people of the US felt when slaves rebelled and wanted to be free? How do you think men in the US felt when women actually wanted the right to vote? There has always been issues in history which involved protests...

While I truly feel for those people in California who are dealing with the fires, that happens pretty much every year. Its dry and hot. Anytime lightening hits something its going to create a fire.. And that's on top of people doing stupid shite to cause fires to start.
As for as the protest. They are all taking place within a few blocks within a city. I would hardly call that "burning to hell". Eventually, they will learn how fricking stupid they are.
Sort of like what happened in Seattle with that whole CHOP situation. They all want something to happen, but don't have a plan beyond taking over the 6 blocks they took over. And they will find out that what they want will actually make them more vulnerable because if they try to take over something.. It will be just as easy for other people to overthrow what they took over. What they are doing is just stupidity... I wouldn't give them the credit by saying they are causing this country to burn to hell.

I think some of the broadcast networks have asked their reporters to tone that down.
The sponsors did after Thursday night. It will not matter. It’s not the broadcasters people are boycotting; otherwise, ratings would be fine and people would just turn down the volume. It’s the players’ and league’s position that are against ideals of their fans that people are unwilling to support now. NASCAR lost a lot of fans in the last five years for similar actions and there were no more hardcore fans than NASCAR.

Taxes were real, slavery was real, women’s rights-real. Systemic racism in the United States in 2020 is made up bullshite.

Actually it makes a lot of sense. None of these things have any impact on the actual game, none whatsoever. Just enjoy the game and stop being a vajayjay.

Haven’t even considered watching NFL today. Instead my afternoon was spent at my model desk listening to podcasts and working to finish this Messerschmitt Bf110C. All I’ve got left to do is the decals...

Exactly. Everyone loves having that right until people use it for something they are against.
Who are they even hurting by doing what they do? And I really didn't even hear much at all about social injustice, but its really funny to see people get so worked up over it.

So true. It’s like they had no issue with until it was expected that as a conservative/republican, you have to be against the NFL. I watch sports for what they actually are, competitive games. What happens before the whistle or after the whistle has no impact on whether I watch. These same people pissed and moaned for years about the everybody gets a trophy liberal mentality. Yet, now they are the ones who have become pussified because they don’t agree with the activism. I never agreed with kneeling and etc during the national anthem, but my gosh people have let that offense control them. I hear arguments all the time about how offensive this is to those generations who fought for our freedoms. Yet, those heroes wouldn’t have let all this turn them into a bunch of pansies.
