Has this become the social media bitch fest for your neighborhood? I see a post this morning about someone moaning about dogs not being tied up and being allowed to roam around on the roads. Then this afternoon I see a post about speeding in the neighborhood. She Mentions that someone was speeding and hit her dog. So OT question: How much of a shite storm would it cause if I mentioned that I have identified one of the culprits that is known to allow their dog to roam the streets however the problem has been resolved. I can see this site causing lots of issues and not doing anything good.

Don't have this but I made the mistake of adding my e-mail address to my HOA's message board. It's nothing but women bitching--and not about legit stuff like stray dogs (trashy) or speeding (dangerous). I'm talking bitching about younger women walking to the pool in bikinis and needing to cover up.

This sounds like the time when fishfighter's dog got run over because he is a shitty owner and he threatened to sit by the road and throw bricks at every car that passed.

I wish this was common in my neighborhood.

We use it and it's usually pertinent discussion. It helped me return a dog to its little girl one day. Helped catch a thief and reminds me that it's stupid to leave your car unlocked outside of the garage.

I've been here all summer and haven't seen it. The pool is a couple of streets over, though, and I don't think any of my neighbors have teenaged-early 20s wives or daughters.

The only thing I've been interested in 6 months was a new restriction in our leasing guidelines (you now have to rent the entire house to a single legal family as opposed to four college kids or owners taking in boarders).

Yea...someone genuinely posts a concern as the person has been bothering residents and needed help. The first few people provided general context of their interactions with the person...then someone had to inform the OP that they didn't "label" the person correctly. And it went off from there with the crazy old people...

The leasing or renting restrictions have been in place for years (except while the courts reaffirmed it after a case brought regarding Southdowns). Only 2 unrelated adults may reside in a home in EBR.

I have some dumb-arse neighbors that keep complaining that someone is going through their cars but not stealing anything. The funny thing is, they keep leaving their cars unlocked.

Never heard of it... But just downloaded and scoped out what everyone was saying in my hood.

Someone bitches about someone else's Christmas decorations still being up...

Guess it's time for me to take my lights down off the gutters?

My neighborhood has a Facebook rather than nextdoor. It's fun to troll the idiots.

Also half the people dont understand selling crap at garage sale prices. No one is going to buy your "slightly" used samsung tv that cost $600 for $500.
