If I enjoy fishing offshore and can’t do it anymore after an accident, I just lost one of my joys of life.

What people fail to grasp is that the frustration is aimed at the frivolous suits. I was involved in a fender bender that occurred at less than 5mph and had people not even in the vehicle filing lawsuits. None went to the hospital, but attorney run pain clinics days after. I think we can all agree that its too much and a blight on the state.

Wait until you find out that a spouse who wasn’t even in the accident can file suit for loss of consortium.

loss of consortium
Those are usually pretty rare and minor. And they give the lawyers for the insurance companies the right to embarrass the s&@t out of people during the deposition and discovery process. Many spouses just say never mind.

Many here (including me) should consider action against one Leslie Miles on 1/11/12.

Everyone says that, until they need an attorney. Funny how that works.

I have no plans to fake a neck injury to try and scam an insurance company anytime soon, so I have no use for you.

Thanks for stealing my post from earlier.
But seriously, I can see if someone caused an injury to me or my wife that prevented our daily sex romps (okay weekly) then I’d want some lost pussy payments.

I deal with Louisiana personal injury attorneys on a daily basis.

Herniated disc. Bulging disc. All of this from literally a scratch on the bumper. And their buddies over at the attorney mill pain clinic are way too happy to write a causation letter that these MRI findings they have likely had for years are all causally related to this MVA which occurred at less than 5 mph. It’s a joke.

If normal people would see what I look at everyday they would demand change.

People have sued for being unable to sex it up after an accident...this is just the PG wording.

Loss of enjoyment of life.

And it’s been included in every lawsuit for 100 years it’s nothing new.

Back in the 90s there was some cheeseball PL attorney in Nola who drove a sportscar with a vanity plate that said CC Art 2315 or something to that effect. He knew about loss of enjoyment of life.
