Do white people not eat fried chicken, or waffles, or watermelon? YES, obviously they do. Most white people, especially in the south, crave those foods, and for myself, I haven’t found greens that I won’t absolutely destroy if put in front of me, collard, mustard, turnip, chard, beet, kale, or spinach. Destroyed if done properly.

Every single bit of this is racist in and of itself, assuming that food is what is racist, rather than one’s own racism in themselves for thinking that these foods are somehow racist, which outs oneself for thinking they are and this is somehow racist to eat food that others have used to stereotype blacks in the past.

So what? Are we really going to allow racists to dictate what we can and cannot serve and eat? It’s tasty, and people love it… ready for it? Because it tastes good, and people regardless of skin pigmentation love the stuff. That’s why. If in the process of trying to erase racism so to speak, why would you award racists the power to determine what you eat and don’t eat, thus giving them the victory over you, wielding power over the lot of us all? Does actual “real racism” and “real racists” not win?
