New vehicles not having cd players

Absolutely sucks that you don't get a CD player in a new car. I'm 40 years old and I don't have songs downloaded on my phone. All my music is on CDs. And it cost $350 to buy a USB plug-in CD player. Is there an alternative to the $350 cd player besides downloading music?

Bluetooth or aux cord to your vehicle and get Spotify Google play etc

Yeah, my last new car I went to put in a CD and realized there wasn't a place...I called the dealership and asked them where it was located(thinking it could have been in center console or something) and I got laughed at and was told it's 2016

As I said, I'm 40. I'm not big into technology. I don't even have anything hooked up to my smart tv lol. there are alot of people 40 and up that don't have other ways to listen to music (besides CDs)
This is my first vehicle newer than a 2014

You should have downloaded those CD’s to your computer years ago. Tell your child to take 20 minutes out of their busy schedule and download your cd’s to a computer and put the file on a flash drive.

Correct answer.
Rip all your songs using any free audio player/ripper. Buy cheap USB stick (less than $25) and stick in usb port (your car will have one).
Never have to change a disc again.

Get an mp3 player and transfer all your music to it. Problem solved and easier than carrying around an arse load of CDs. Then you can store your CD’s away safely so they don’t get scratched up.

No option for a 8 track anymore and cassette player option is nonexistent.

I will say, 7 bucks a month for prime music unlimited is worth it. You can create your own playlist with any song you can think of

You can stream all the music you want anywhere from free to 5 bucks a month.

I like CD players in cars but I could not tell you the last time I bought music.
