Wasnt talking about late season adjustments.
Understood, but this explains how people get confused. There are multiple predictions even from the same sources.
The predictions made last month will be revised. It’s kind of like a sports handicapper changing the betting line in the first quarter based on what is happened and what is happening at the time.

I was listening to NPR, and they said that the NOAAs forecast of a historically active season was due to high ocean temps. They then went on to explain that the high ocean temperatures are the result of climate change caused by humans burning fossil fuels.

I read a story on cnn today about heat dome out west bringing unusual heat caused by fossil fuel.
Clip from the article-
“The temperatures will be dangerous for those exposed to the elements and unable to cool off. Relief from the heat won’t be found at night, either – another symptom of a world warming due to fossil fuel pollution.”
How can they even know this?

That is how the theory behind climate change goes.
Energy incoming is the same but what is leaving as IR at night isnt as much as it used to be bc of the greenhouses gases. Hence one expectation is lows at night being higher, more so than even pushing record highs during the day.
The article, of course, makes a couple of leaps from there to make the direct connection but I can at least see how they got there.
Super impressive "journalism" there.

Ryan Maue is a good follow. He will get shite on by the climate fear porn pushers and sensationalist types, but he is one of a few who are trying to cut through all the noise.
Remember the conversation we had in another thread about Oklahoma's yearly tornado count? Well, I have another example of what I said there.
SPC tweeted a graphic earlier today that showed the nationwide tornado count for April and May. The total confirmed toronado count for both months is 786. That includes 66 EFU and 239 EF0 tornadoes, or 305 of the overall total. Those are tornadoes that very likely wouldn't have been counted years ago.
When the total for the year is tallied, many people won't put an asterisk to account for that fact. They'll compare an active tornado year to those 50 years ago.

*gasp* looks bleak. What's that gigantic low parked out in the Central Gulf? An early season hurricane?
Please say it isn't so

UF is digging Jeremy Foley up. They want an early start on canceling the Nov. LSU game.
ETA: At least 4 downvote queers didn't stop sucking cock long enough to get the joke. Douchebagism is afoot, accompanied by pole smoking.

"Climate change" is one of the biggest hoaxes ever thrust upon mankind.
