Nope.
After all of these years and false hopes, promises and demands I'm convinced I will never see this in my lifetime.
This was the last of them. If you have one, keep it forever.

It took me all of three minutes being offroad in my '17 Taco before I jumped out and took my front air dam off. That shite sits way too low and I didn't buy the vehicle for its gas mileage.

The closest thing I can find is the approach angle for a k1500 Suburban at 18 degrees. Those have similar ground clearance to the trucks and used the same front body panels and bumpers, so I think it's safe to say they are equivalent. wiki link
I would think the difference to be negligible, but an inch or two would be expected. Different springs and all.
Approach angle is more important than clearance, in my book, but approach angle does not directly reflect clearance. Considering it cab be greatly altered by front overhang.

Very misleading and you of all people should know why

Computer was online bruh. I pay extra for the fancy internet with multiple tabs open. I'll keep my eyes peeled when I go to lunch.
Eta: I do not think the newer 4wd systems are any better than old ones. If you've been in the mud with them, you might agree. I don't want my truck deciding to put the brakes on when a wheel spins. I'm trying to go wide fricking open

Yikes. That's it. Damn.
I think I'm too low at 14
Unless you are driving a modified GWagen or H1 your clearance will be well below that.
Everything is less than a foot even with independent rear suspension.

Yikes.
My Disco II has a 30° approach.

100 percent agree
All the traction control bullshite makes things way worse in my experience
I've had to disable it all anytime I'm offroad

I think that is actually step 1 when going offroad

Same. When I first got the truck I was basically stuck in a wet grass lot. Until u turned all the bullshite off and had real un interrupted 4x4
ETA- 3wd before some smartass comes in. Rear locked, front not.

I'm actually looking at both the trucks for my next vehicle. My '06 Grand Cherokee is almost done. Or I may just get a newer one.

Just measured my 04 2500hd ground clearance at the lowest point (rear pumpkin). My tires are exactly 31.5" tall, and the bottom of the rear end is 8.125" off of the ground.
With the same sized tires, the rear diff of a new one should be exactly the same (since they still use the same axle). The front valence is what's lower on the new ones. I don't feel like posting pics, because I'm not at the computer anymore, but the newer ones have a front valence that stops 2/3 down the tire. Older ones only go 1/2 way down the tire, so the rear end is the lowest point

You try hitting the brakes? It used to work on everything

Well, its a Disco but the only suspension mods are slightly larger OD tires and a moderate lift. For that and about $10k you get 30° approach, 14" ground clearance, center locking differential, full-time 4WD, 3.4:1 transfer case, hill decent control and a solid front axle.
Youll be working on it every week but its British. So...

If you have the factory LED headlights, then you suck. If there is ever a vehicle in my rear view blinding me, it’s usually a new F150 that’s been leveled.

The new ones are kinda shitty. The last real off-road vehicle Land Rover made was the '04 Discovery(maybe they still make the Defender
).
Soccer moms, rappers and British engineers killed the brand.
Thats why I disagreed with LNCHBOX over his assertion that newer vehicles are anywhere near as capable or reliable off-road as most older vehicles. Too many concessions were made for passenger comfort and ease of use.
Most guys that are serious into off-road are looking for body-on-frame chassis and SFAs unless they are going Baja or rally racing. You cant find new vehicles designed this way and all the electronics and other accoutrements just get in the way and make the vehicle less reliable. K.I.S.S. philosophy.

I was just referencing that I don't get how they pull off a solid axle above the center of the wheel.
I've seen some designs that involve geared housing and obviously angling the diff, just didnt think those came on the Discovery.
