Literally tree fitty. That's roughly $3.50 million per bus.

These busses will flood in 5 years

Some people find the dumbest stuff to complain about. “Heres a gift of 20 buses for your city. “
Rather have streetcars. They're also cheaper to run and maintain.

It's a grant from the federal government. Where oh where do you think the federal government gets money to give out?

The RTA said $30 million of the grant will go toward building a microgrid of charging stations that will keep the system running during and after severe storms
Okay all weather stations? Since it's NOLA, whose relative will land that contract?

This right here. Stuff like this isn’t sustainable. How many will be abandoned on the side of the road when the money just isn’t there anymore.

Another in the long list of reasons I left Nola.
Good luck going all electric. Let me know how it turns out.

I think billj found him a customer.

$71m for 10 busses? so, $7m per bus? What a bargain!

Every electric vehicle is incredibly heavy due to the batteries. It’s a good thing the streets in New Orleans are nice or this could be a problem
