He has zero interest in being in DC. The cabinet position was brought to him after this past election.

Any restaurant with a prerequisite is pretty much off the list for me. I can't imagine owning a restaurant and deciding to just risk a percentage of business, knowing how often restaurants fail without this type of interference.

Similar to the mask nazis. I walked into Panda Express once during the mask-ation, and they frantically told me I had to mask up or leave. I left, and went to the place immediately next door, which you could see thru the windows, lol.

There's no way anyone gets to her position being literally that ignorant.

Sorry NOLAGurl, gotta disagree with you...she did get there and she is that ignorant.

quote:

Everything about her mannerisms and tone are deliberately crafted to appeal to black ghetto NOLA women so they say to themselves, "Look, she is ONE OF US! She is a QUEEN like us YAAAS QUEEN SLAAAY" and whatever other low class garbage they speak.

I don't think she's smart enough to craft anything toward anyone, she's just being herself which is a spiteful, hateful and ignorant person.

that Phase 2 press conference, she was totally flustered by an unable to answer even the simplest question someone in her position should be somewhat remotely prepared to. She's too ignorant even to know how to prepare for the obvious question that were coming. It was pretty much "Your Mama" answers the questions from a press corps that walks on eggshells around her, cause the absolutely can't think on her feet and can't even prepare for what one would think are questions anyone of the simplest mind could be prepared for.

You realize they have no choice in Orleans right now, right?

Doesn't sound like he's aware of that. He can take all restaurants off his list right now except maybe the one next door to Panda Express if that one isn't following the mandate.

Kim Anh is just a run of the mill decent pho house. That's not saying it's bad, but there's certainly nothing exceptional about it. There's 20+ places in the area doing exactly what they do just as well .

Tan Dinh and 9 Roses on the WB do a lot of other stuff more exceptionally.

The Pho Bang in Gretna is my favorite pho spot, but all of their other locations are on par with Kim Anh.

There's a little spot, Sunrise Pho on Vets in Kenner near the airport that's also an under the radar great pho house.

I'll try to get to your Harahan Italian place, though.

Wow. Really stuck it to those minimum wage employees that don’t give a shite where you spend your $9.

$9? Can you even get a Big Mac combo now for $9?

Yes, don't people like you always say to vote with my dollars? I did. When enough people say frick this and go next door, those employees might quit worrying about the masks, or perhaps ask management/ownership to reconsider.

How am I going to infect some guy many feet away and behind glass? They weren't even allowing dine-in at the time. No clue if they do now. I vote with my dollars.

To be fair.. in tipped industries, it has a little more effect. If you rely on someone's tips and you're too over the top to them over Covid rules, your pay is directly tied to that.

A bar here in BR just had their owners instruct staff not to enforce masks anymore for folks who don't want to wear them, because they were so strict initially that they lost a ton of their regular customers.

I do think that being a dick to employees is not cool, but there definitely were some folks out there being the mask gestapo out of pure pleasure.

To enter Superdome tonight, vaccine card or current negative test.
There will be vaccine stations set up at the dome. Get your first shot and you can enter.
To me that just shows it’s a numbers game. How can getting the first vaccine and minutes later being able to enter prevent any spread.
Yet restaurants and bars are held to a higher standard.
It’s all about the money, and the NFL has the money to call the “shots”.

I don't think I've had Chik fil A more than once or twice since they went full tard with the drive thru and closed dining rooms. I think they've opened back up, but it's just not good enough to me for the hassle, and I was CFA RED thanks to me taking CFA to the plants as bribes... lol.

The only reason I went to Panda Express is because it was adjacent to the store I was at. It wouldn't even be on my list, because I think they are a Pepsi restaurant, which I avoid by rule anyway.

He's saying the restaurants have no choice right now. You have a choice, but they don't.

Would you normally be going to New Orleans right now and, if so, where would you normally eat?
