I flew into the old terminal Wednesday and there was no TP in my bathroom stall. It was like they let go of all the janitors, everything abt MSY has been bad for over a year now. I don’t need to fly out until late November and really looking forward to a positive experience.

Yeah, it’s like people want New Orleans to not improve. Really mind boggling.

What’s going on with the floor surface in this picture?
Or to NOLA MSY-speak rephrase: Who specifically was on the take to not require the floor installation to be correctly done?
Spelling “Starbucks” as “Starbuck’s”.
tl/dr: Mitchell is a POS.

No idea. Can't find another pic that shows the same thing. Definitely wasn't noticable whilenstanding there.
Interesting shadow I guess.

That’s no shadow.
There’s a substantive difference in the material.
You can see the straight joints on either side of the discoloration.
I wouldn’t have paid for that shitty workmanship at my place and I’ll bet you wouldn’t have either.
Inspectors not doing their job. Surprised anyone?

Right.
Just saying if the half dozen other photos I came across it doesn't seem that noticable.
Might as well tear the whole mother fricker down.
Snagged this pic showing the horror

Are you expert on commercial flooring?
We don’t actually know if it’s a issue.
We do know it looks shitty.

Might as well tear the whole mother fricker down.

Definitely not.
Just saying that it wasn't readily noticable when I looked down at the stage or walked across that section.
Wasn't looking for something to get worked up over either, so that might make a difference.

Bainbridge will be the road the shuttles use.

I flew into MSY yesterday and was greeted by someone belting out Louisiana 1927. Nothing inspires people to come to Louisiana than singing that song when they first arrive. LOL

Would you rather nonstop When the Saints Go Marching In? Maybe you can put in a request for the LSU fight song now that O is taking them to the next level.

eople are looking for reasons to be mad about a shiny new airport, 3/4 of which is being paid by the airliners. We finally have something comparable to other nice midsize cities like Austin, but some people have decided that they are experts and we could have fixed the old msy with 7 dollars, a pack of bubblegum, and some duct tape
If this was built in St. George, the folks on this board would be jizzing all over their keyboards and bragging about how awesome it is. The fact that nola has improved something seems to be pissing people off.

As long as its not a total dumpster fire (like every other project New Orleans has ever touched), I might be surprised.

That's the Lousiana way, it takes a lot of hard work and dedication to ensure we always one step better than Mississippi

The airlines don’t consider MSY fully functioning. They absolutely hate it. It’s an outdated dum

he airlines dont want to move to the new one. They will be fined for every day they aren't over there.
The airlines absolutely wanted a new terminal, they are paying for most of it (along with arrival fees). The old one cost them a lot of money.
Now, they, like everyone else, are pissed off that it's 18 months behind schedule and some corners were cut. So their excitement today might not be as high. But they absolutely pushed for this.
