Pee-Wee Gaskins episodes were something else. Actually read his book after that show. Christ.

I've probably listened to their early Female killers episode 5 times. Can't remember if it's part 1 or 2 but the Polish Prognosticator Just cracks me the frick up.

His voices in the early years are great. Hong Kong Henry Zabrowski is Peak LPOTL.

The voice his does in the Charles Ng episode is great.

They were much less worried about being offensive back then.

They definitely used to be better. Kind of the way it goes when you create an entire network I guess.

The only thing that bothers me with Supernova is when he’s describing Midway and the Japanese sailor says “helldivers”. I know he meant dive bombers and the helldiver didn’t make it on the scene until late ‘43.

The first twilight of the aesir was hard to follow, but I’ll find the time to listen to part two sometime.

As far as the other three mentioned, my rankings are:
1. Supernova
2. Ghosts
3. Blueprint

Wasn't as big of a fan of the first one. That's just the subject matter though. His WWI/WWII ones are the GOAT. Wish he'd do a series on something like Vietnam.

id love one on the Napleonic Wars

I’d want to hear one on the Napoleonic Wars.

Honestly, I’m becoming more and more disenchanted with Dan Carlin. Almost an entire year in between episodes is ridiculous. That, and his TDS makes me question his commentary on a lot of topics.

IMO, he was kind of the weak link, but then I don't know what happened. Marcus clearly does the heavy lifting and Henry just brings the humor.

It’s like you don’t know how the show was set up

They betrayed him and cut him out over the word of a lying whore. Like Johnny Depp and amber heard

Honestly, I don’t know the background of what happened but I haven’t listened since he left and was a weekly listener before.

would you say that political affiliation has significant influence onto your judgement of one’s intelligence?

I would say you're rather tiresome.

Besides, what is Carlin's political affiliation?

He was questioning Carlin's intelligence. Makes perfect sense to me.

I never once questioned his intelligence. I questioned his commentary on topics.

Ghosts of the Ostfront is a great series don’t get me wrong, but it pales in comparison to Supernova and especially Blueprint. Saying that, if Dan redid the series it would likely me much much better. Ghosts is like a speed race compared to the other two and suffers in ranking because of it. At least IMO.

Nice thanks for sharing.
I do love his stuff - the WWI multipart series was especially fantastic.

The Prophets of Doom is one of my favorites. I think it was the second one I listened to. I remember installing cabling in big warehouse off clover lane while I did it
