I mean, Pearl Harbor has done well over here twice. So maybe there is an audience.

Not quite made from the Japanese perspective, however.

An alternate title name for it in Japan could be “How My Great Grandparents’ Lives Quickly Got Infinitely Shittier”.

Couple of my libtard nieces brought up the Abomb of Japan a few years ago at Thanksgiving. Still think about my grandfather and what he would say to those two gold spoon dip shits if he was around.

The US basically transformed Japan from a third world county to what it is today after the war, so things actually got a lot better for them.

After my aunt passed away, my uncle moved cross country to move in with his girlfriend, the widow of his best buddy. Turns out she was step sister to Col. Tibbets. He named the bomber he commanded after his mom, Enola Gay.
Some years after he died they had to dig him up and move him to unmarked grave. Protesters kept defacing the first one.

It'll only sink in after the 2nd viewing.

I was watching something on this awhile back and I came away thinking "Long term, that was the best thing to happen to Japan". It sucked to hear the stories of the people who lived through it, but then again a lot of people have been through bad shite throughout history.
Kind of like a certain race who always complains about their history & wants money for it.. They wouldn't even exist today if that whole situation didn't happen. So would you rather not exist if it meant your ancestors got to stay on a certain continent?

I think they'll be satisfied to know that the bomb was invented by a degenerate psycho.
I mean, not very, but still.
