They were set up by Louisiana coming into the state from Mississippi. They’re relatively new within the last few months.

Just wait till you see the check station we put up at both Thompson Creek crossings coming into W Feliciana parish. Slowly getting the parish secured from outside intrusion

They are becoming more prominent on backroads that one might take to avoid the Interstate. They have them on 569 south of Liberty, MS as well. Bottom line, if you commit a crime and are trying to take the back roads to avoid detection you need to put on a clean plate.

Yep. It says a lot about lack of transportation care in the state when it only has one North/South interstate...and it's only part-finished at that.

They can run a program to see who is running drugs,plus other obvious things.
Say a person goes to a known pickup area in Houston frequently,then runs to New Orleans or Atlanta and runs right back. They can pinpoint them follow then follow them for the inevitable violation and traffic stop.
I’m sure all of the readers have put a dent in the stolen car traffic.
