New apartment, cannot self-install my own ATT Fiber

Because the previous retard, I mean occupant, appears to have ripped the ONT right off the wall bracket and stripped the fiber cable from the yellow jacket casing.
I have to have an ATT tech come to resplice... how fricked am I? I do not feel like this will be a quick process.
The apartment complexes 'ATT guy' has not returned a voicemail or email from Friday, though it was late in the afternoon I sent them, and it was Valentine's. If I do not hear anything by noon today, I guess I need to call ATT directly and bypass this guy.
My fiance works from home and we need internet ASAP. I wanted it set up before we really got settled. It was going to be so easy too... not now. The good thing is, I actually do not even have an ATT account yet. And I'm not signing up until they fix this shite. Not paying for a month of internet service that ends up being where I only had it for 1 week of that first month.

So long as there is enough glass left inside to properly terminate it should be a minor issue to repair.
Edit: that doesn't mean you should underestimate the utter incompetence of any ATT tech.

I do it all the time. I've pulled off I-10 and worked at an Exxon station.
In fact, I'll probably do it today from Alex Box parking lot before the game.
Hell we just got back from Disney and my daughter did all her school work while I was driving via tether to her phone. Very little disruption between Tallahassee and Mobile.

Of course, but this is frustrating as frick. I am just curious what sorts of response times any of you have seen from calls like this, ATT or otherwise.

How is it you think you're going to get much, if any help from AT&T or the "local" tech if you don't even show up on their radar? Call AT&T and schedule an install date as a backstop, which will then likely get pushed back a few days once the tech (local or otherwise) sees what was done to the ONT.
And shouldn't complex modeling be done locally, with only finished renders being exchanged between fiancees PC and the server?
I'm curious as to what the old tenant thought they were going to get by ripping glass/plastic up. Jesus, even if it was Cat-6, there's not enough value to the raw material unless you brought a spool of it in.

The tech AT&T sent out to install fiber at my house in 2023 was an absolute smoke show. I thought my friends were tricking me and sent a stripper. I wish I knew a discrete way to find out if she had an onlyfans.

The hard parts are done. It will be 10 min to reterminate the fiber, 10min to install the new ONT or wall jack, and 10 min to activate the gateway.
