NOT the same thing as the YouTube comment deal

Right. But that's two times (at least as we know now) that they were directed to the name Nikolas Cruz within months of each other. Seems like...oh, ya know, the taker the 2nd tip would have typed his name into a fricking database and it would said, oh, shite this is the second time this name has been reported, maybe we should take a trip over to see Mr. Cruz. SMH.

Whatever officials made the call not to follow through need to be held accountable for the lives lost.

Figures.

When was the last time the FBI looked as corrupt or incompetent as they do now? Ruby Ridge?

He had been the subject of 35 calls to 911, he was never arrested..got expelled for bringing bullets in a backpack, so he got expelled from wearing one and then finally expelled totally from school, then post ed guns in instagram..and he posted in utube that he would be "a professional school shooter" guy of whom Cruz posted on his utube site, called the FBI and reported it....fbi made an excuse that they had no idea who it was....s very unique name like nikolas cruz....ummmm, if they just tried to look, they would have easily found that name and addressed him then....I guess the fbi was too worried about makin up bullshite about trump...what a joke

People are going to have to say "it connects Trump to Russia" to get their attention.

The Rosenstein Presser over 13 indictments of Russians for playing on the internet and organizing both candidates rallies/protests equally...the FBI did NOT act on reports with that either!

Failed Bureau of Investigations...we ain't got time for investigations, we got sexting to do with each other and other govt. agencies!!!

FBI is alerted at least twice. Police are called to his house over 30 times. I don't know how the parents of and families of the deceased and the injured can stomach this information. Talk about rubbing salt into the wound constantly.

This is so infuriating.

The citizens are doing their jobs and leaving tips to the FBI who are in turn not doing their jobs. What do we pay these idiots for again?

They dropped the ball on the Orlando night club terrorist also, didn't they?

The Boston marathon bomber too. Same old garbage.

Indeed, a government report issued a year after the Boston attack concluded the FBI missed key opportunities to stop Tamerlan and his brother, Dzhokhar, from carrying through on their plot to set off pressure-cooker bombs at the Marathon finish line. The report also called for greater cooperation between federal and local officials. Has anything changed? “That’s what we want to know,” said Keating. The April 2014 report concluded that federal law enforcement officials failed to see a future terrorist in Tamerlan Tsarnaev — even after the Russian Federal Security Service told the FBI that Tamerlan and his mother were “adherents of radical Islam” and Tamerlan was planning a trip to Russia to connect with unspecified underground groups in Dagestan and Chechnya. The FBI-led Joint Terrorism Task Force in Boston conducted an assessment of Tamerlan to determine whether he posed a threat to national security, but closed it three months later “having found no link or ‘nexus’ to terrorism.” Later that year, Tamerlan traveled to Russia, but those travels “did not prompt additional investigative steps to determine whether he posed a threat to national security.”

I wonder if this was the call that led them to the "professional shool shooter" post in the first place. It seemed awful fast how the youtube comment was known...almost as fast as the "could not identify" excuse.

Looks like they stretched their neck out too far trying to get ahead of this f-up.

Federal
Bureau of
Investigation

Investigation is literally in the fricking title. Maybe they should have taken a crack at it.

Also I'm pretty pissed off we can have 30k military personnel in fricking Korea still but a school of 3200 gets one fricking "resource" officer.

But people on this board want more government intrusion to protect the children when the protocols in place now doesn't get followed.

those aren't even remotely related

however, you should be glad to hear that some groups (even the ACLU) are trying to remove police presence from schools because it "unfairly targets POC"
