Universities across this country are indoctrination machines first and foremost. Then there is some education to be had.

This is just something that uneducated neo-conservatives scream to avoid the realization that intelligent people tend to have the mental fortitude to comprehend altruism.

Me either. I don't think the man should have been killed but this same shite happened to a white guy in Dallas and we didn't rip the country apart. I actually never knew about it until this incident happened.

Why would a tax paying adult be embarrassed or afraid to tell people who they voted for? It’s very visible online what political party we all belong to.

Found Aggie's problem.

Started out with a loser. His tradition continues to this day.

Meanwhile, LSU's first President was a winner:

How would anyone know this? Nice made up bs story though.

Especially if he graduated in 2009?

Is he saying that he was the only white guy in the class so he assumes he was the only Trump voter 7 years later?

The focus on attracting out of state students has resulted in a lot of students from liberal areas. It’s going to continue the leftward drift. Many of these students are coming from the East coast (Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania) and California. Mostly states with competitive admissions for the state schools. Out of state admissions are way up this fall and it’s the most “diverse” class ever.

Acquaintances I haven’t spoken to in years may as well be completely foreign to me. So many people are down with the movement. That’s fine. But these same people loved to throw around racist jokes during the college days.

Why do you find that unusual?

Many people do experience an evolution of ideas as they grow older. What you felt 10 years ago doesn't have to apply to who you are today.

You are correct. Kind of like the UL Lafayette fans who hate all things LSU and make it seem like the entire town of Lafayette is anti-LSU. We all know it’s not true but it feels like that.

My son is at LSU now and is majoring in political science then will attend law school with aspirations of getting into politics. He is a conservative and has been ridiculed each semester so far for being consecutive.

There are a couple of conservative Republicans in political science. I know that Garand is a conservative Republican, and Clark is as well, though someone told me that Clark has left the university.
