Very kind and generous of them.

This is per an email I received this morning from Netflix.

Buy an old desktop. Put Linux, plex, and sonnar/radar on it and move on.

I contemplated going back to Dish. I believe the price for their 2nd highest-level plan is $95, but it is locked in for I think either 3 or 5 years.

The thing I don't like is I think they still charge for extra Joey's (boxes) just like cable does, which makes no sense in today's market when they're going against YTV, Hulu, Sling, etc., and these companies don't charge anything for additional locations within your household.

They weren't going to do these kinds of shows anyway?

Bingo. The value is no longer there. I just cancelled a few streaming services last week and will only have 2ish at a time now. You have 5+ streaming services and cable is a much better value.

This was me. Had dish and it was fine, but couldn't justify keeping it paying like $7 for those and if you have several TVs then it's not worth it.

Netflix is the worst of the streaming platforms. 98% of the stuff on there is crap.

IPTV. $15 or less per month. Has every channel you can think of including PPV for free.

Really not a good solution for wanting to watch a 4K movie on a 65" or bigger screen.

Sonarr/radarr like the other poster said. Full quality Blu-ray.

More uplifting stories?? So, in their world this means more woke and LGBTXXXX documentaries. As if we don’t have enough already.

Nah. Until my wages match or outpace inflation, I’ll happily make cuts where necessary.
