Searched but didn't see a NeoCov hysteria thread yet so here it is.
NeoCov is a coronavirus that's been known for a decade in South African bats and is related to MERS so it's pretty damn deadly.
Right now in bats it can use the ACE2 receptor to infect those buggers but it can't do the same in humans in it's form in the wild.
However...
Scientists in Wuhan have been able to produce a mutation in the lab that does infect humans and just published a pre-print which is getting headlines.
How 10-yr-old virus is causing needless alarm & what study actually says

Viruses that kill that efficiently don’t spread very far

Future generations will judge us for not dropping a nuke on that city.
Posted on 1/30/22 at 10:04 am to Diseasefreeforall
Can we firebomb and then nuke that city already?

Well that’s darn considerate of them folks.

I respect their hustle

So this virus won't spread because it will kill the hosts before they can infect others.

Sweet. Thanks Wuhan.

Don’t thank Wuhan. Thank these two evil fricks that financed that lab in Wuhan:

Are they bragging about how much better they’re getting at designing deadly viruses and releasing them on the population?

Their continued and more efficient bioterrorism.

Humanity has survived for so long without modifying viruses to be more deadly. Not sure why they felt the need to start this shite as of late
Benefit does not seem worth it

It depends on how quickly they kill.
There are some bird flus that are incredibly scary if they ever mutate juuuust a little.

Can someone explain the benefit of this Wuhan lab to me like I'm 5 years old?

Number one reason is they’re crazy. Think about how much interest there seems to be in climate change, over population, gain of function, and virus outbreak protocols research by the same wealthy and powerful people. I sometimes wonder if they’ve bought into climate change so hard that they think the only way out is eliminating half the population.

I’d like to see them get the Mussolini treatment
