It would be fricking terrifying watching a family member leave the god damn PLANET in one of those things.
Great Americans. God Bless.

Funny how we get color photos of his family watching him but only black and white from the most significant human achievement ever? Yeah, nothing odd about that.

Do you realize how rudimentary the A/V equipment had to be for any assurance of a working image? There is a famous COLOR photo of Earth from just above the surface on Christmas Eve ‘68???

I’ve forgotten, was it him or Shepherd who was an infamous prick when he became a civilian?

The "moon landing" is Stanley Kubrick's best work.

I believe it was Armstrong.
I know he big dickt Aldrin out of being the first person to walk on the moon after it was pretty much already decided.

Your tin foil hat is loose.

Just to be clear. In your theory, hundreds of people are aware of the moon landing being fake yet all of them have kept it a secret and not one of them all of these years later has leaked the truth? Yeah OK.

I don’t really have a definitive theory. But what if only a select few were aware of the filming. Just the astronauts and a small film crew. It could be recorded and played later while they orbit the earth.
Another interesting bit is that the news channels weren’t able to get a feed straight from the moon. They had to point their cameras at a CCTV screen at NASA and use that footage. Was NASA worried they would be able to tell it was a recording?

Do you think they just faked the Apollo 11 moon landing or do you think they faked all six moon landings?

Anybody can send a rocket into space. We had the set when I was a kid

So no one in the government knew? This was just a conspiracy orchestrated by Neil, Buzz, Michael, and a small film crew?

So who was feeding Mission Control fake telemetry data telling them that Apollo 11 was orbiting the Moon? Stanley Kubrick?

quote:Honestly, there really isn't anything odd about that, given the circumstances and technology of the time. You seem like an intelligent person, but what is the need to explain the photo there? To rank tinfoil hat conspiracy theories, the only one more wacko than not believing in the moon landings is to believe in a flat earth.

The six Lunar landings did happen, and have been independently verified by other nations with no reason to give the US credit for "faking them".
Every single "problem" that the conspiracy folks have identified can be so easily explained, if one has an open mind. The "evidence" you speak of is so easily debunked. Its hard to believe you people really exist.
