The world is going to hell and you are concerned about leaves blowing into your manicured front yard.

My neighbor and I use the same yard guy so it wouldn't be an issue for us.
Can you not talk to your neighbor?
Can you not talk to your neighbor?

My neighbor came over and thanked me for raking the last 2 years, said the people who had lived here for the 15 years before that had never done it and he was constantly having to rake them up.
I haven't done shite yet this year, poor guy probably thinks I hate him now.

Seems like we are the only ones on here with common sense.
Oh yeah, creating more work for yourself using a bitchy/passive aggressive strategy that will only temporarily fix the problem.
Pretty sensible!

First world problems. Subtle brag!

Why not just let the leaves inevitably blow into your other neighbors yard??
Posted on 11/7/17 at 11:22 am to pioneerbasketball
Deal with the leaves. You would prefer your neighbor cut his tree down because it’s an inconvenience to you? Real prick move

Obviously your problem is with the wind, not your neighbors. You should pray to the good lord and ask for help.

If your neighbor is like mine, and won't ever mulch or rake the leaves form his trees, and you've spoken to him about it like I have mine, and he still does nothing, then definitely blow his leaves back into his yard. A lot of the posters saying not to do this are probably lazy m'fers whose house & lawns look like shite.

I keep my yard manicured and well-kept at all times. I don't have any trees b/c I don't feel like constantly raking throughout fall/winter months. Well the people across the street have 2 large Magnolia trees that drop their leaves like crazy and they NEVER rake these up. Of course, inevitably, when it's windy, their leaves blow onto my lawn. We're not talking a small amount of leaves here either.
I want to get my blower out and blow them back into their yard, but my wife thinks I'm being an a-hole. I told her that it's their leaves and I'm just giving them back. What would yall do?
I had a feeling of deja vu when I read this...
I have no idea why I remembered a thread from 6 years ago because my memory is terrible, but here ya go:

Wtf is happening? Am I in a simulation?
EDIT: It's actually this thread from last year that I remembered. LINK
Not the same text verbatim, but same topic (OP deleted though). I just stumbled upon the 2011 one first while searching and was mindfricked.

Tackle your neighbor from behind, breaking his ribs.

Got yourself a very smart wife. Completely agree. You sound like an a-hole for sure.

Lol at the OP copying a thread from years ago. Op probably lives in a trailer surrounded by gravel.

I've never heard anyone complain about this. This is one of the stupidest, most petty complaints I've ever heard.

I'm surrounded by woods, the damn trees keep dropping needles on my side of the line. I've tried talking to them numerous times, but they don't do anything about it. They just stand there staring at me. I'm so pissed about leaves and needles in my yard. I'm so angry!!
