you would be.

This is home ownership, you just have to deal with it.

Unless you have purchased a deserted island upon which to live isolated, you have zero leg to stand on. The world does not exist for your amusement nor will it ever bend to your whims. Grow up.

What would yall do?

First, I'd bitch on a message board about it.

Then, get out my leaf blower and/or rake, get them all in a pile and pick them up. Or mulch them.

Am I just that a-hole neighbor or is 99% of this board terrified to speak to the people that live around them?
The two concepts you present are not mutually exclusive.

Rake them up, start a compost pile, plant tomatoes in the spring, use the compost, then don't share any of the tomatoes with your neighbor. Lemons into lemonade, if you will.

Or, sneak over late at night with some gasoline, pour it out in the shape of a giant penis across his whole front lawn, and laugh as his yard has a giant dead grass penis for the next several months.

Rake them into a pile, catch the wind just right and burn them so you can smoke your neighbor. Or, listen to your wife, you are an a-hole.

I dont like my yard looking like shite going to get the blower out now. Ask OT advice, then do the opposite lol usually works. I don't understand how I can get so many downvotes.

Shame your neighbor by asking permission to enter his property in order to rake and gather the offending leaves.

Magnolia leaves don't blow across the street into other yards. They are too heavy.

Oh, and a yard with trees > any manicured fake looking yard.

Well the people across the street have 2 large Magnolia trees that drop their leaves like crazy and they NEVER rake these up. Of course, inevitably, when it's windy, their leaves blow onto my lawn

All bullshite aside, is this worth ruining your relationship with your neighbor? This isn't a hill worth dying on.

Makes for great mulch. I haven't purchased mulch in 10 years.

Maybe you could put up some of those garden fence plastic things as a leaf catcher. It's not like a tornado rips through your neighborhood dispersing leaves everywhere. Usually they are small bursts of wind that moves the leaves 2-3 inches off the ground, if not less.
