Neighbors dog crapping in my yard

Recently, my wife and I have been noticing piles of dog crap in our front yard. Monday night, my wife heads to the store around ten and sees our neighbor standing in the street watching his dog take a shite next to our rose bushes. I know the dude feels like an arse, as he should. What is the OTs opinion of the situation?

My neighbors dog does this. I typically just get a shovel and sling it into their yard.

If I had a dog and took it on a walk and it shite in my neighbors yard, I would not care at all and I’m 100% NOT picking it up.
Grass is grass, idc whose it is. Dogs shite in the grass, it’s gone in like 2-3 days

Why is it always old people and their shite mini-whatever breeds that violate this common sense unspoken rule?
I’ve had to accost some folks for not picking up their little shitzoos shite in my front lawn. fricks given. Don’t like me bitching you out about it? Don’t let your dog shite in my lawn then don’t pick it up.

I've been working from home with a good view of my front yard. Lady was letting her dog shite at my mailbox. She was looking around, obviously not going to pick it up. I just walked outside and watched. When she saw me she scrambled to grab a bag and pick up the shite. Haven't seen her since and I didn't have to say a word.

In the city limits dogs are supposed to be on leashes & you should clean up after your dog, it’s the responsibility of the owner
