Is your dog injured? Broken skin, potential for infection?

On a serious not it’s a little concerning because i have a young daughter and I don’t know if she should play outside anymore. That’s the main reason I feel like I should say something but at the same time I don’t want to come across as a dickhead because I know they’re good people

1) were the neighbors not also outside? Did their dog escape? If their dog escaped their yard and immediately felt it necessary to defend "its territory" from other dogs, then that is a BIG problem imo. I am not saying the dog needs to be put down or anything but I think it does need to be brought to their attention that their beloved pet might hurt someone if they don't take more care in keeping it contained.

2) you don't have to be a dickhead. Just go over and say hey your dog got out and went after my parents dog who was minding its own business. Just wanted to bring up to make sure that nothing more serious happens in the future.

Now if they come back being dickheads to you just letting them know about the incident then you can frick his wife.

You just said neither you or your wife witnessed it AND that his dog is friendly with yours. How can you rule out a stray dog or a cayote?

You let them know what happened, and as you posted in one of your responses, you let them know you have no idea about the circumstances (what yard, did the yorkie instigate...) If they are responsible owners, they'd at least want to know if their dog bit another dog, even if it was defending itself/property.

they allow their 5 dogs to roam outside and both our dog and my parents are inside dog that only go out to potty. I know it wasn’t coyotes because the dog doesn’t go far from the house and it was in the middle of the day. I really wish the ot detectives would stop trying to deduce what happened im 100% certain what happened because even though they have a Great Dane and 2 labs the weimaraner is an aggressive dickhead and has growled and barked at me before and ran at me like he was gonna do something. So the sleuths in this thread can chill out

Holy shite what a melt. Sonic! Sonic! Sonic!
eta: nobody on the OT has a "car port." We all have ten car garages filled with foreign innovation.

Dude starts a thread with next-to-no details while asking for advice. Posters try to piece together events and offer insight as OP trickles out new information with each post. Then OP blows a fuse and threatens to savagely beat another poster.

How do we even know the family dog didn't nip at the other dog either?

me and my 5 dogs would kick your arse and then go kick your dogs asses. We wouldn't bother banging your wife because me and my 5 dogs have already exerted our dominance all over your face and its dripping off in front of all the other OT baws here.

Now quit screaming at people and quit being a pussy and bring the dog to a vet. A raccoon could have bitten it too moron.

they’re both small but our dog is smaller than my parents. And my wife would’ve seen it if that happened

Is the yorkie aggressive? I have two large dogs, both very docile. We take them on walks (they are always on a leash) and we always have issues with smaller dogs running up to them and acting like aggressive assholes

How exactly would she have seen that happen but not see what happened to your parents dog? You belong on Judge Judy with your story telling skills.
