That seems a little odd. You were taking pictures of what, exactly? How did they know you were taking pictures? You were standing on something, weren't you?
Standing on that firepit is a weird move, especially after you had already done something to make them think you were weird.
This thread feels a bit like cover in case you get caught doing something wrong.

This. They definitely overreacted, so you either aren't telling us everything (maybe you don't realize you're creepy looking), or they have a reason to be scared. I don't think meth dealers would call the cops on you though. I'm thinking they're hiding from someone who might send an investigator after them. Maybe he owns a small business and doesn't pay his taxes and think you might be trying to take pictures of the fancy backyard he can't afford. Maybe the wife or daughter have been sexually assaulted before and they are just being paranoid.
