Maintaining a German vehicle is usually worth it, IDK about VW.

My mechanic told me, If you ever being a VW in here, I'll run your arse outta here so damn fast, you'll shite yourself...

If you do get it, sell it when the warranty is up...

I hate that no routine maintenance is ever “routine.” Always something like “well you know it’s European so we gotta move this and that and order the weird part and it’ll take longer.” fricking hate it

They are currently offering the 0% for 72 months but it’s only on the MSRP.

Then it’s not really 0% interest since all you are doing is paying $4000 in interest up front.

The only way they would consider 28K is if you have a bag of cash.

It's 'built' in Tennessee so it isn't exactly European.

I love my German car, but I can’t even type how much I just paid to get it serviced without getting physically ill.

I've never thought routine service was that bad on them. I've only had one done at the dealership though and learned that those cookies and coffee in the waiting room aren't cheap.

Set up burner email.

Cars.com. Search for what you want. Find cheapest vehicle in acceptable location. Email dealer. Agree on price and financing. Go get vehicle.

Your welcome.

Mine has 160k miles on it, it was pretty much leaking every fluid the vehicle has. Motor mounts, control arms...

This is how my B-I-L helped me find my wife's car, Emailed about six dealerships around a 75 mile radius. Got down to two dealerships with haggling the price. Final one made the best offer. Final email was like, I'm coming to get the car now, no BS, no added charges, I want the price you gave me. Anything else, I'm walking out...

Got the car about 10K less than the MSRP...

And if the salesman dodges your call post here before calling his manager to get him fired.

Have them throw in a free case of engine oil, you will need it.

Make sure and get the free oil changes so they can find something else to charge you with every 3K miles.

I am going to write down 29,000 for a Silverado LT with the safety package, convenience package 1 and 2 and see what kind if call backs I get.

They have the car at a local dealership we want for $31k, I just found the same car different color at a dealership in Texas for $27k.

Is there a certain mileage you can use before a dealer tells you to go ahead and drive over there?

I flew to New Jersey to get the German car I have now. LONG drive back.

She’s cool with just any color?
