Need help with a scammer

I received a text from someone claiming to be my boss asking me to get them Apple gift cards. I know it’s a scam, so I’m crowdsourcing my responses. I’ll reply with the best responses below and post the results. Go!
PS: I verified with my boss that this is not them.
Scammer: (My name),Available? (My boss’ name)
Me: Yes
Scammer: I’m at a meeting I can’t take a call right now but I’m excellent with text if that works
Me: Works for me
Scammer: Ok need you for a quick task
Me: OK
Scammer: I have a presentation in a few. I need Apple certificates bar- codes and I was hopping you could purchase some for me at any store close by physically and I will reimburse your when am done with the meeting
Me: OK, give me a few minutes.
Scammer: How many minutes?
Me: 20
Scammer: Okay

ask the scammer,if you can get that raise you talked about. Then blow up and quit your job. see if he tries to talk you back.

I used to work with a guy who fell for this scam and bought 1k worth of gift cards.

"My assistant left them with your assistant. Why are you texting me while we are in the same presentation? Are the cards door prizes? Are they door prizes from both of us? DO I need door prizes? I can have my assistant grab some muffins from XYZ bakery, do we need muffins? Do we need sandwiches? Will the presentation push to lunch? Are we going to lunch after this? I'm going to have my assistant pickup some sandwiches, or should we do a sit down with drinks after the presentation?!"
