Must have missed all those interviews on TV of people explaining how a Jet liner was taking out light poles on the freeway. Because they didn't happen.
I mean if you believe it was a missile or whatever then you won't believe any witness accounts but this is what you asked for, a compilation, with links to the actual interviews from multiple sources.

Notice that when you have to talk to a conspiracy theorist that proof that they are wrong only deepens their fallacy. It is a waste of time, evidence is their enemy.

Hanjour began making cross-country flights in August to test security, and tried to rent a plane from Freeway Airport in Maryland; though he was declined after exhibiting difficulty controlling and landing a single-engine Cessna 172.[34]
One would think a previously trained and certified commercial pilot could handle a dinky single engine Cessna ?
Yet he somehow handles a 757 with the grace and precision that nobody else could do.
Doesn’t add up to me

Pretty sure rational folks understand what happened.

So what happened to all the people that were on the plane? Where did they go?
Not trying to feed the conspiracy theorist, but the Atlantic?

n your opinion, can a couple of guys who have only simulator training successfully fly a Boeing 757-223 into the East Wing of the Pentagon traveling over 550 mph and nearly dead horizontal with only 30' of altitude at impact? What is the probability IYO?
What happened? Another $2 trillion went missing?

Those hijacker’s could barely take off and land
Takeoff and landing are much more difficult than steering the plane in the air. These terrorists didn't have to takeoff or land.
Besides, we know some of the people on the Pentagon flight who were killed. Barbara Olson (a woman who was a political commentator on CNN and Fox) was on that flight. She was on her way to Bill Maher's studio to film his Politically Incorrect show.

Nah I think it’s in the 9/11 commission report. I remember they interviewed the flight instructor.

This did not require in-depth technical knowledge or a high degree of skill. Hanjour, as a private pilot, was completely out of his league in the cockpit of that 757; however he was not setting out to perform single-engine missed approaches or Category-3 instrument landings with a failed hydraulic system – or to land at all. He was setting out to steer an already airborne jetliner, in perfect weather, into the side of a building.
Hani Hanjour’s flying was exceptional only in its recklessness. If anything, his loops and spirals above the nation’s capital revealed him to be exactly the shitty pilot he by all accounts was. To hit the Pentagon squarely he needed only a bit of luck, and he got it. Striking a stationary object — even a large one with five beckoning sides — at high speed and from a steep angle is very difficult. To make the job easier, he came in obliquely, tearing down light poles as he roared across the Pentagon’s lawn.

Training sim would definitely make it possible to do this. Crashing into something as massive as the pentagon with the training simulator experience they had wouldn't be too big of an ask. Didn't have to get it in the air, didn't have to land it. Just had to make a few turns in great weather and smack an extremely large building. The twin tower pilots had the harder job hitting those buildings.
Heck even gaming PC guys have managed to land if thrown into a training sim. Training sims aren't a joke.

Not that much luck either, the pentagon is absolutely massive. Its a big frickin target and he still didn't hit it perfect, he was into the ground before the building.

You realize the pentagon isn’t a Burger King don’t you? It’s massive. You can fit Vatican City into it comfortably. It wouldn’t have been that hard to hit.
And the plane actually belly flopped on the ground before momentum carried it forward into the Pentagon. So there wasn’t 30’ of altitude into the building. The engines left scars on the ground where they skipped on the ground.

I thought Sully's argument of the other pilots having the upfront scenario allow3d them to pivot instantly whereas he and his right seat had to spend time calculating/assessing other airstrips/etc. Maybe I misunderstood.
From what I remember the training sim pilots immediately tried to land after bird strike and landed fine. So Sully asked for reaction time to the bird strike to be accounted for and so they made the pilots wait a set amount of seconds after bird strike before being allowed to turn back. That is when the training sim pilots failed to land at an airport.

Arlo should go all out and use the Pentagon footage to peddle how great their cameras are.

All conflicting information, and half assed eye witness accounts from people giving what they heard happened. The conflicting information is huge. Most state the plane clipped the ground. Yet the lawn was good enough for golf. How can that be? A commercial jet liner hits the ground...you know it.
What they saw was a guided cruise missle. There is zero video of it impacting the Pentagon that is worth a shite. And the little bit they do have, contradicts all the eye witness reports.

Thanks for the link, but that doesn't really support the "we only need to learn to fly and not land" tale.
i've heard the "learn to fly and not land" thing as well but couldn't find it. I want to say it was in some documentary
seems like a game of telephone happened.
