It wasn’t as villainous as the movie made it out to be, if you watch the movie it makes the NTSB look horrible. Eastwood wanted a villain. It was more of investigating what was possible and it was never discussed or performed during a hearing like shown in the movie. It all happened well before and was just done to see what was possible.

Have you ever seen a cruise missile IRL? They are tiny compared to an airliner. You would have to have never seen a commercial airliner to confuse them at the distances involved.

Not to mention the size difference would lead a witness to perceive a cruise missile as going WAY faster than a commercial airplane. You’d never mistake an object that small traveling at ~550 mph as an airliner.

Why would a deeper ring have a No Parking sign? Plus it's listed on the FBI's website as a photo of the exterior.
Anyway, not sure if the hole is from an engine or other debris thrown from the plane.

Try this one. You may have to move eyes left, right, up and down to piece all of the pic into your perspective. Zoom in as needed and note all obstacles in the way and their respective and obvious heights and distances. From far left lanes of highway inward. Imagine the plane as slightly larger than a tent.

This has always been my counter to the “cruise missile hit the Pentagon” idea. We know there was a flight 77. So what happened to it if something other than a plane struck the Pentagon?
