I bartend a lot of weddings, I'd say standard is 4 hours
I should rephrase.
3 hours is all that is included at the majority of reception venues and quoted by bands. Lots of people opt to add an extra hour, but you pay extra for it.

No you don’t! Get a great DJ ….for the most part, the original song is far superior to a local cover band

I went to a reception 2 weeks ago and everyone raved about the band. They were awesome

Went to a reception where they played, and thought they were great. Not sure of their price but i assume “if you can stomach it” means they’re expensive

nah, that's pretty cheesy, a good cover band that sort of works the crowd is the way to go

I second this. I think I was at the same wedding. They brought the house down!!!
ETA: NVM the wedding was the 18th, but they were awesome.

Master P is from NOLA. Give him a ring.

Pre-C19 we had locked in Bucktown, but they could not accommodate the new date after rescheduling. We wound up going with “Souled Out” from Lafayette and had a blast.

I retracted my statement. The wedding was 18th. But without a doubt one of e best stage presence I’ve seen from wedding band in a while. They read the room really well and it was hit after hit after hit. The trumpet player could have been Tim Robbins doppelgänger from Shawshank redemption. Also looks kinda like Joe burrow.

They are $4450 for the standard 3 hour reception

Band Camp pretty good and flies under the radar relative to some of the others
