Narrated by Attenborough

They have wars, they have societal structures, they use tools...do you ever think a Planet of the Apes esque scenario could arise?

They really are violent creatures. Chimpanzee Cannibalism

The males will kill the baby offspring of another male and eat it.

Anyone ever experienced a primate attack in person?

There are some great docs in Planet Earth. Fascinating creatures.

It has already happened.

Our ancestors defeated our alien lords and banished them from Earth.

How do they get this footage?

How much money does it take to convince someone to follow a group of violent chimps around while they attack other chimps?

A gal in Loronger used to keep one chained to a tree outside her trailer. It's name was Jonas. It would smack folks around if they got to close.

They are stupid strong and stupid violent when they want to be, and they can just snap. Kind of like a pitbull.

People think because they can dress them in human clothes that they are all sweet and funny,

But they are still wild animals. Especially in a pack where the excitement makes them feed off each other and drives them into a frenzy

I would not want to be across from a pissed off primate

"Humans are the only animals that go to war!"

Or some other naive statement.

There's a show on A&E called "I Survived" that interviews people that went through various events (being shot, stabbed, boat capsizing, electrocuted, etc.) and somehow made it through.

One dude named Gary survived a chimpanzee attack. He made it, but a couple of people that he was with at the time, didn't make it.

To hear him describe the strength of the chimp is freaking ridiculous. In case anyone wants to watch it, here's the youtube clip of it:

Only humans have wars. All other animals are peaceful and loving. Who is the real animal?

I just saw this on a documentary this weekend.

“The only other species violent against its own is us” speaking about chimps.

So dumb.

Bees
Fish
Birds
Big cats
Wild dogs
On
And
On
Etc

I do not know why that chimp being so jacked up surprised me. All it does is climb and climb all day. I’ve seen the arms of climbers and how muscular and strong they are, now imagine that’s all they did all day and how strong they would be.

Which Animals Recognize Themselves In Mirrors?

Interesting what animals and humans do pass the test.

Yup, Empire of the Ants

This one is fascinating. Definitely worth the watch and Attenborough’s voice is like a dessert.

Looks like a lot of trail cams set to video. Set along the trail to and in the rival communities.

I hope referring to them as “ communities” is not deemed “racist”. Please forgive.
