One encouraging thing. More people showed up for the redbull soapbox derby than the protest here....

This nation has gone to shite.
Protesting shite is about as America as America gets...this nation was created out of protest, or at least that's the story we all accept, who knows if it is accurate or not but its the one we have settled on.

From a glance at that map, I know some of those places are very conservative. I feel like they want some conflict to break out
But the reality is this is bad optics for them. And they’re too stupid or blind to see that. Getting a bunch of people to just come out is going to result in some of those people rioting and causing damage while these same organizers don’t condemn it (obviously) is just going to get more people to hate their cause. The point of a protest is to change voters minds. So optics matters but they suck at it
Largely non-violent with the noted exception of some moron in Virginia intentionally driving his vehicle into the crowd and one in Salt Lake City shooting someone. Minor skirmishes with LEO but given the number of people the protests were largely without incident. Its actually how Americans should exercise their first amendment rights, peacefully and without acting a fool.

I’ve seen this song and dance in Ruston before. It’ll be 2 blue haired Tech students and a sad nerd that follows them around.
According to the Ruston Daily Leader it was about 250 people and in the photos in the paper there ain't no blue hair in sight. Thats about 1% of the population. No violence reported according to the paper. Paper is probably an instrument of the lizard people and no doubt has a basement where children are bled out to allow the trapezoid committee to drink it....

According to Nola.com, whatever that is, somewhere between 350 and 500 protestors in Covington, LA.

As long as it stays peaceful I'm ok with it.
It did almost universally and is about as America as America gets. The desire to squelch free speech is all to strong in far too many people in this country.

Yup, the ole I disagree with what you're saying but I'll defend your right to say it thing is a dying attitude from both sides of the aisle.

If we made a Venn diagram of the ‘No Kings’ protest crowd and the self-proclaimed medical experts on social media who spent mid-2020 demanding vaccine passports, masking your kids, and keeping schools, gyms, parks, and churches shut down indefinitely—what kind of overlap are we looking at? 70%? 80%? 90%
